With over 15 years of agency experience, I have risen from Artworker to award-winning Creative Director. From initial concepts to final production, I have leveraged insights and data to create impactful, user-focused and results-driven work across both digital and print communication channels.
My work has been crucial in boosting kerbside recycling for Rochdale Council, showcasing Chronolife’s role in the future of healthcare, and assisting the NHS in developing accessible, intuitive, and user-friendly websites.
Additionally, I’ve had the privilege of working with high-profile brands such as Cadbury, McCain, Swissport, Environment Agency, Marks and Spencer Financial Services, Carlsberg-Tetley, United Utilities, Yorkshire Building Society, and BMI Healthcare…to name a few.
When I’m not behind my computer, I’m connecting with clients, building strong relationships where they feel supported and confident in making bold decisions. This helps me better understand their goals, challenges, and vision, ensuring my creative solutions align with their objectives, spark creativity, and deliver lasting results, on-time and on budget.
In between developing concepts and meeting with clients, I’ve expanded my skills by learning HTML, CSS, and JQuery. This knowledge of front-end web development has given me valuable insights into web design best practices, particularly the importance of creating functional and accessible websites for all users.
I have designed user experiences (UX) and user interfaces (UI) for key NHS Trust websites and intranets, ensuring compliance with strict accessibility standards. I’m focused on creating seamless, user-friendly navigation and layouts that cater to diverse user needs, while optimising functionality for accessibility tools like screen readers and keyboard navigation. I liaise with stakeholders to ensure the designs address both patient and healthcare provider requirements, delivering an inclusive and intuitive digital experience for all users.
